Welcome to the website of Hundale Borzoi
Hundale is a small Borzoi kennel situated in the semi-rural coastal village of Spencerville on the east coast of the South Island of New Zealand just north of Christchurch.
I have always believed in breeding purely for quality, and have aspired to improve the breed by only using very select dogs and bitches, with the aim of producing quality, healthy dogs with sound temperaments that not only successfully compete in the show ring and lure coursing field, but also are much loved family members. I have bred a total of 9 litters in 36 years - 5 of these being Dobermann and the remaining 4 were Borzoi, which became my passion.
Hundale puppies are raised, socialized and housetrained in a loving home environment with the best of care in the endeavour to produce healthy happy dogs. Litters were initially reared with 4 children and other pets, though with the Hunter childen having long since left, puppies nowdays continue to be raised in my home being exposed to children through much attention given them by my grandchildren. All dogs currently at Hundale live in my home with me - with the fully functional kennels seldom used.

Multi BISS and RISS, Multi BIG, Age in Group and Show winning Borzoi,
Borzoi Club of NZ Borzoi of the Year and Dog of the Year, and all age groups of the Year
from Puppy through to Open,
Plus Borzoi that are consistently successful winners at BOB level.
